Bring your own device policy (BYOD)

The directors use tablets during the meeting, but they belong to the city and are stored in the clerks office until the next meeting.

No. But the City purchased each commissioner a Surface Pro in an effort for us to go somewhat paperless. We are still working on the paperless part.

not at this time

Employees that are provided a city issued ipad are expected to bring them to meetings.

I am unaware of an existing policy.

We do not have a BYOD policy but Councilors may use a City-owned tablet for City business.

Absolutely not. We issued each council member an iPad for paperless agenda's. Other than that, use of electronics is frowned upon during the meeting, unless specifically asked to research or pulll up a fact.

not yet

Our Directors use City-owned tablets during Board meetings. Our IT Department sets them up before each meeting so the agenda and exhibits are just a click away.

We don't have a policy at this time but probably need to look into it!

No, there is no adopted policy at this time.

we provide i-pads for our elected and most department heads, so we don't need that policy

not at this time

Not at this time.

This office has a strict "leave your devices (mostly cell phones) out of the office". It is way to easy to abuse the policy
